Dear Participants of the 3rd Hemispheric Conference on Medical Geology:
It was really a great pleasure to share with you all those excellent lectures, oral and poster presentations. We felt very glad to have the visit of colleagues from 30 countries representing the five continents. To many of you, it was the first time in Uruguay and/or the first time in South America; so the 3rd HCMedGeo gave you the opportunity to learn more about Uruguay and its traditions as well.
Now we can confirm that this 3rd HCMedGeo was a major learning experience for all of us attending. On this scientific meeting we could share research experiences and activities on Medical Geology with colleagues from the wide world. We hope that all the friendships formed will enrich and broaden our personal and professional activities.
We are sure that this 3rd.HCMedGeo fulfilled the main IMGA objectives: to spread the message of Medical Geology and to build bridges between the earth sciences, public health, and biomedical communities updating the latest global perspectives on this emerging discipline.
