Interest in Medical Geology is continuing to expand worldwide at an increasingly rapid rate and creating numerous opportunities. Our organization has reached the stage of development in which a formal structure is necessary for it to function efficiently. This structure should enable us to better respond to the opportunities, to rapidly pass information to those interested in Medical Geology issues, and to make critical decisions that will benefit the discipline.
The Directors of the association are:
Olle Selinus (Geochemist, Sweden)
Bob Finkelman (Geologist USA)
Jose Centeno (Pathologist, USA)
The organization started formally January 24 2006. Olle Selinus continues in his capacity as Director of this activity. Jose Centeno and Bob Finkelman are Co-Directors.
